Chris + Emily Engagement // Marietta, G.A.

I met Emily a few months ago in Chapel Hill when I took her graduation pictures with her three best friends. She was there to witness the sweetest small wedding I blogged about here. A few months later, I was reached out to by Chris, her then-boyfriend.

Chris told me he was going to propose and he was so excited to show me the ring he picked out and tell me all about how he was going to pop the question. Chris and Emily grew up in Marietta, Georgia and he proposed in the gazebo at Marietta Square. Naturally, they wanted engagement pictures around Marietta and naturally, I was more than happy to hop in the car and drive down south! 

We took most pictures at Chris' grandparents house, which is a beautiful southern house on lots of land with barns, greenhouses, and a lake. We explored all over their land and then ended with pictures around Marietta Square. Such a fun session and so excited for this wedding in a little over a year!
